Types of Kayaks We offer rental of three different types of kayaks:

• Single sit-on-top kayak
• Double sit-on-top kayak
• Sea kayak

The single and double kayaks require no prior experience, while renting a sea kayak necessitates a special certificate. We also provide courses for obtaining this.

Kayak Rental – Rules and Practicalities How many can rent? We offer kayak rentals from 1 person to larger groups, such as for corporate events. If you are more than 4 kayaks, booking a tour with a guide is required.

How much time do I have? You can rent a kayak for 1 to 4 hours, allowing for either a short excursion or a more extended adventure.

Where can I paddle? You navigate through the beautiful canals of Copenhagen Harbor. Your journey begins at Kayak Bar on Børskaj 12 in Copenhagen, and in one hour, you can reach Christianshavn and Frederiksholm Canal. In two hours, you can pass by Amalienborg, the Opera House, Holmen, Christianshavn, and Frederiksholm Canal.

Borrow a map before your journey starts and receive valuable advice and inspiration on where to paddle.

Formal requirements While we prioritize having fun on the water, it is done without alcohol. Therefore, you must be 100% sober to rent a kayak from us, whether you have rented a kayak or a tour with an instructor.

You must be able to swim at least 150 meters, be in good health, and physically fit.

If you are under 18, you must be accompanied by someone over 18 who takes responsibility for your time on the water.

Equipment Rental prices always include the kayak, full basic equipment, life vest, paddle, and spray deck. You can also borrow a waterproof bag for your phone. Items you don’t need on the trip can be stored in a locked cabinet in the dressing room.

Cancellation only occurs in the event of severe storms or thunder and lightning. Rain and wind cannot deter us.
